What methods can police officers use to stop a suspect who refuses to pull over?

Let's say that a suspect has a warrant for his or her arrest. If a police officer finds the suspect on a highway, but this person won't stop, what methods can the officer use to stop the suspect? What about if the suspect is known to be armed and dangerous?
